Why this shop exists

Most home decor is sold to people who own their walls. Drill here, mount that, paint this. If you rent, half of it is off limits — and the other half you have to leave behind.

The Home Aisle stocks the other kind. Lighting that sticks on and peels off cleanly. Shelves that hold real weight without a single hole. Rugs, curtains and throws sized for the rooms people actually live in rather than the ones in catalogues. Nothing that costs you a deposit.

How we choose things

Every product is picked by hand, one at a time. Before anything goes on the site we check three things:

Does it look like the photo? Supplier images are often plastered with marketing text. We reject those, or crop it out.
Is the size honest? We list real dimensions and say plainly when something is an accent size rather than a room-filling one.
What’s actually in the box? It’s written on every product page. If a set is four pieces, it says four pieces.

That sounds obvious. It is not what most shops like this do, and it is the reason our range grows slowly.

Shipping, plainly

Delivery takes 9–19 business days and everything is tracked. That is slower than a marketplace, and we would rather tell you before you order than after.

In exchange, shipping is free to 28 countries — the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia and more — with no minimum spend. Most shops our size are one country only.

If something goes wrong

Email us and a person reads it. If an item arrives damaged we replace or refund it and you keep the original — no posting anything back. Full details are in our returns policy.
